This past weekend we enjoyed a quick overnight trip to Laguna Santa Maria del Oro. The crater lake is just a little over two hours from Guadalajara, cruising down the toll road. The weather for a couple of days leading up to the trip and for several days afterwards had been unusually gray and wet for this time of year. Hopefully a future return will yield some blue skies and sun.
